I really stopped caring about rating albums after having Nas drop so many classics that never made it to an album... I mean come on Good Morning, Esco Lets Go (raw beat), Serious ft AZ, Scientist (just blaze beat) etc etc etc....... I think iLLmatic and Stillmatic are the best tho since the Nas+Premo will most likely never happen :(

I gotta go with It Was Written. It's the perfect blend of Illmatic and the more radio oriented stuff he does afterwards.

Lost Tapes, It Was Written, and God's Son are some of my favorite albums after Illmatic.

By the way, does anyone have any new info on Lost Tapes 2? Is Nas going to release it anytime soon?

My personal favorite would have to be... *drum role* "God's Son". In my opinion a perfectly balanced album, to me this is Nas in his artistic prime. So many gems, its undeniable, "Dance", "Heaven" and then counters with "Warriors", and "Mastermind". Not to mention the beautiful visuals that "Thugs Mansion" brought us, its as if Pac was right there in the booth with him. Every ghetto school was playing "I Can" during assemblys and talent shows at that time, taking nothing away from the genius of the song itself. Combine that with the radio success that was "Made You Look" and you get... Simply a classic.

IT WAS WRITTEN...Great production, his flow is insane and he goes so hard on that album. Also he has great singles like "Street Dreams", "If I Ruled The World
    (Imagine That)", and "The Message."

Why does everyone hate Nastradamus so much?
Nas still came through with that flame
It has quite a few classic tracks on it and real nice production
