Is "Untitled" A Classic Album?
Untitled which dropped back in 2008 was supposed to be called NIGGER. Nas recieved heavy backlash for wanting to release an album called that from the general public, so he was forced to change it. Now, my question is do you think Untitled is a classic? I feel it is because of the message behind it is so strong and powerful. Also, i never heard another rapper make an album with that type of topic and still make it extremely enjoyable to listen to. The production was soothing/upbeat and, the clever topics on tracks such as "Sly Fox" and "Fried Chicken" were enjoyable. This album is extremly moving and is a work of art. The two singles "Hero" and "Make the World Go Round" were amazing singles and broke up the intensity of the album. I thought "Hero" was an amazing single and very inspirational. From beginning to end this album is a masterpiece and i would love to know your opinion on this album. Post your comments below.

I think that this album was packed full of topics, and messages that not only the hip hop community wasn't discussing enough, but also society in General. I mean, freedom of speech is our right, and yet because so many feel discomfort in one man naming his album Nigger. I wondered why that was...... Networks like FOX, paint a negative image of Nas out of ignorance, and total disregard to those of whom have been blessed/moved by his poetry. Yet Rush Limbaugh can choose any given Sunday to start blurting out foolishness, racism, all while on drugs lol...and hey, that to them is okay........ Because many of them have never known/cared of what it is to have s--t, and to try to make something from it.....They'll never understand The hope, the motivation, the comfort, and the overall beauty, that is Hip Hop. There are alot of skeletons in the closet of the U.S.A, and the moment that somebody starts speaking of it, they try to kill the character of that person. But what FOX is not grasping, is that we said F--K THEM long before they tried to go on Nas...because it is not just him.....its anybody who "looks" like him whom they attack, and for whom they have no respect. Yeah this album was dope. I think that it was underrated by some, but as i said before, his poetry was as on point, then as it always has been. I mean think about it, if he had made a mindless album with no relevant content, then nobody (FOX, AND REST OF THOSE ASSHOLES) would NOT have had a problem with that.....Just as long as we continued walking around in the dark.... but awareness is LIGHT....when there are so many that profit (such as the prison industries) from us being down, why would they want us to know our greatness? I mean if we knew how great we really were....THEIR PLAN for division (In our homes),and failure might not actually succeed. smdh. I think This album was great...Melodically it was no ILLmatic, but Lyrically it was awesome.
